About this project
The Dubai Dry Docks facility is adjacent to Port Rashid and represents the only large dry docks in the Persian Gulf. Since opening in 1983, the facility has repaired over 6,000 vessels with a combined weight of 500 million tons. Castle Electrodes provided reference electrodes for the cathodic protection monitoring system protecting the dock's reinforced concrete structures against the aggressive marine environment.
