About this project
The elevated section of the M4 motorway in West London, built in the 1960s, runs mostly above the A4 and extends over parts of Brentford's Golden Mile. Notably, it was designed with a heated road surface to reduce icing in winter. Castle Electrodes supplied reference electrodes for the cathodic protection monitoring system protecting the reinforced concrete bridge structure.
